It was a real pleasure to cover Middlesbrough College's annual graduation day last week. The ceremony took place at Middlesbrough Town Hall and similar to the previous years that I've attended, it brought a smile to my face seeing how much the occasion meant for those receiving their honours.
Proud families watched on as the students dressed in gowns and colours for a day that will live long in the memory. The start of a path towards a new career and/or gaining a qualification that had been a lifetime ambition. Either way, fulfilling that human trait of gaining knowledge.
