Although having my work published isn't a new concept, since going freelance it somehow feels that bit more special. Perhaps as I'm receiving credit individually rather than as part of an organisation, and, perhaps because I don't see my photos in print or online as much as when I was a newspaper staffer.
Several printed images have made me feel proud of late. A front cover story in the quarterly Tees Business magazine on Additional Length's managing director Victoria Lynch, and a story on games guru Bob Makin in the (also quarterly) BusinessIQ magazine. In addition, I was involved in an internal project for Darlington Borough Council photographing a variety of their workers from different departments which was particularly enjoyable.
I feel very privileged to have played my part in all of these assignments and more, and I'm hugely grateful to those who continue to have the trust and faith in my creative ability.
