Sunshine and Showers

A really busy and interesting few days with work carried out for various organisations including The Northern Echo, Tees Business, Tees Valley Combined Authority, Stiller, Redcar and Cleveland Council and Con-Force UK Ltd.

The Darlington Fun Run.

It all started with some lovely warm weather last Saturday as I attended the Little Street Cavalcade parade in Shildon followed by Osmotherley Show and the Seaham Food Festival. Temperatures dropped and showers fell on Sunday for the start of the fun run attached to the Darlington 10k road race. Thankfully conditions improved for the main race with hundreds of entrants taking part.

For the rest of the week, I found myself in and out of factories and offices, sampling ice cream, experiencing a new arts instalment and getting up and close with concrete. With football taking centre stage for the next couple of days, it has been another week of variety, fun and adventure.
