That's All Folk

Autumn can be a great time of year when it comes to light and colours. On a nice day the sun is lower in the sky than during summertime so shadows on people's faces are not as harsh and unforgiving. The changing colour of leaves on trees is also very easy on the eye, enabling photos to be more dynamic.

Saturday proved to be a beautiful day while I attended the Hartlepool Folk Festival. The outdoor entertainment was given an extra lease of life visually due to the warming colours of the season and deep blue expanse of the sky. Singing, dancing, puppeteering, juggling and bubble blowing were just part of the entertainment on offer in the historial setting of the headland. Further reinforcement of how lucky I am to do the job I do.
