A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing a photo feature on Middlesbrough College student Kira Coleman at the Globe Theatre in Stockton. Kira, 25, is currently in her final year studying a sound and music technology degree and it was clear to see that she had real passion for her chosen subject in her additional role as a casual technician at the theatre. Even more astounding is that she went through real trauma in her life, experiencing homelessness, no job and post-traumatic stress disorder after leaving home at the age of 16. I wish Kira every success in her future and would also like to thank The Globe for allowing me to have a good nosey around and see what an impressive refurbishment has taken place over the last 10 years.
