Over the last couple of weeks I've spent a lot of time in primary schools across the North East, capturing images for their new websites. It's an enjoyable task if I can manage to avoid getting soaked or covered in sand by some of the younger pupils. Children are often the best subjects when it comes to candid moments as they can be unpredictable in how they behave in front of the lens.
In this post I've included photos of some of the headteachers I've also photographed. Some of the locations and school buildings are very different: from remote villages to inner cities, and new builds to schools over a hundred years old.
